
Systems Integration Analyst
The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) has a new opportunity for an Analyst in our Business Analysts department. This position will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the technical connections between the association’s core systems. The Analyst ensures data moves securely and accurately across platforms - AMS, email marketing platform, event registration, LMS, finance system, website, etc. to support seamless business operations and high-quality member experiences.
Essential functions of the position include:
System Integration & Maintenance
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between core platforms.
- Ensure timely, accurate syncing of data across systems.
- Investigate integration failures or data anomalies
Data Mapping & Sync Configuration
- Document field mapping, transformation logic, sync frequency, and system triggers for each integration.
- Maintain cross-platform identifier integrity (e.g., Contact IDs, Emails) to prevent duplicate records.
- Update mappings and logic as business rules or system structures evolve.
Project Support & Implementation
- Assist with the implementation of new software or modules, focusing on data flow planning and system connectivity.
- Participate in discovery sessions to understand integration needs and ensure alignment with business processes.
- Conduct testing for new or updated integrations, verifying end-to-end functionality.
Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration
- Act as liaison between business users and vendors to coordinate integration setup, error resolution, and version updates.
- Provide regular updates to internal teams on integration status, changes, and impacts.
- Ensure vendor integrations meet internal data governance and security standards.
Documentation & Training
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all integration workflows, field mappings, sync schedules, and exception handling.
- Train staff or provide reference materials when integration updates affect internal workflows.
Data Quality & Compliance
- Monitor and enforce integration-related data quality controls (e.g., duplicate prevention, formatting standards).
- Collaborate with the data governance team on audits and data cleanup initiatives.
- Support data recovery and continuity plans for critical workflows.
Support & Troubleshooting
- Respond to staff tickets or questions related to system syncs (e.g., missing data, failed email triggers).
- Assist in diagnosing root causes and implementing sustainable fixes or configuration changes.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration (IT-focused), or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems integration, CRM/AMS administration, or technical business analysis
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve integration issues and manage updates.
- Experience documenting data mappings, transformation logic, synchronization schedules, and system triggers.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills—both technical and non-technical
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background and MVR check.
- Experience with Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or a similar AMS/CRM
- Experience with tools to support integration monitoring, automation, system connectivity, and data validation.
